The NSJTA fosters the development of under 18 tennis players by:-
- Providing a Friday night and Saturday morning grade based tennis competition.
- Conducting NSJTA tennis development squads.
- Competing in the Tennis Victoria Associations challenge.
- Encouraging NSJTA juniors to join tennis Vic metropolitan zone squads.
- Entering NSJTA teams in the Victorian Junior tennis competition.
- Annual participation in the Pat Pearce Cup tennis carnival.
- Promotion of annual NSJTA championships and club tennis tournaments.

| 2nd February - Alicia Molik Cup nominations Nominations are now being sought for the Alicia Molik Cup to be played at the Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club on 20/21 March 2010. Teams consist of two boys and two girls aged 12 and under as of 31 Dec 2010. To nominate, use the feedback link on this website and provide an email and contact phone. Nominations are required by 2nd March. This event forms part of the Tennis Victoria Regional Cups Program and is played between metropolitan and Country Victoria regions. |
